Chicha el Chichero Although the origin of the word “chicha” is not known, it is known that it is an intoxicating and delicious drink. Venezuelan chicha or simply chicha, is a sweet non-alcoholic drink from Venezuela made mainly from wheat osémola rice, among other base ingredients, and cow's milk, to which Condensed milk, cinnamon, chocolate chips or syrup are usually added. It is a thick drink that is drunk cold with ice.

This chicha is made by the majority of the tribes that occupy what is now the territory of Venezuela, with great importance in the celebrations of the indigenous peoples. This Venezuelan drink comes from its Andean states such as Mérida and Táchira, spreading its delicious flavor throughout the country, and now in the world. Without a doubt, a drink full of history and tradition, where its unmatched flavor has made it take over the palates of families in Venezuela and America.
