Rate and shipping times for mailing non-perishable items.
Orders for non-perishable items have a variable rate that will be determined at checkout.  Shipping times depend on the mail service chosen at checkout.  

Shipping of refrigerated, frozen and perishable items
Orders containing perishable items (either frozen or refrigerated items) will only be shipped on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Orders placed from Tuesday after 3 p.m. EST through Sunday containing these items will be shipped on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. EST through Sunday that contain these items will be shipped at the beginning of the following week, unless we believe there is a high probability that they will arrive before the weekend (as we do not want to risk them being held over the weekend in transit). 

Dry ice coolers are used to keep the order cold (there may not be any ice when you open the cooler, but everything will be refrigerated). Shipping rates for perishable goods will be calculated dynamically based on the quantity of items, their volume and their weight. 

Meltable items / Chocolates
From May through September, in most cases, we will ship orders containing meltable products (such as chocolates) only at the beginning of the week, to reduce transit time and heat exposure. Orders placed from Tuesday after 3 p.m. EST through Friday containing these products will be shipped only at the beginning of the week to reduce transit time and exposure to heat. EST through Friday that contain these products will be shipped.
